India Indepth

India Indepth is a unique travel and learning concept that was implemented for the first time in February/March 2007 by Tear in cooperation with our partner EFICOR in India. What makes India Indepth unique is the combination of visits to specific development projects and in-depth lectures from, for example, EFICOR staff about poverty, development work and the role of the church in India.

For a period of five weeks, 15 participants were immersed in Indian culture. This cooperation with EFICOR is an example of the reciprocity that Tear seeks in its partner relationships. After returning to the Netherlands, the participants shared their experiences with other people through presentations, stories and articles. India Indepth’s objective of making the participants ambassadors for Christian development work in India was thus fulfilled.
