Programme content:
- Training church leaders in the care of orphans.
- HIV/AIDS prevention education at schools and in youth groups.
- Helping families with orphans to acquire income.
- Training in preparation of therapeutic food with the use of local foodstuffs.
Target group: 10,200 young people and 10,000 families with 65,000 orphans

Programme content:
Food aid for orphans and the purchase of seed and fertiliser to aid self-sufficiency after the next harvest.
Target group: 10,000 orphans and their carers for agricultural support
Education
Tear´s commitment in 2008: €20,000
Partner: Scripture Union
Programme content:
Supporting groups of pupils with 4,200 bibles and new testaments, plus 10,000 bible-reading resources.
Target group: 300 Scripture Union clubs in Masvingo District.
Each club will receive ten bibles for their own use and four bBibles for distribution to selected individuals from each school. The 10,000 bible-reading resources will be distributed to children and young people in six areas where Scripture Union operates: Masvingo, Mutare, Bulawayo, Harare, Marondera, Gweru.

Programme content:
·Providing Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) training and awareness for churches in Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
Target group: National evangelical churches in Zimbabwe and Mozambique, benefiting by receiving training and awareness on MDGs, and by networking.
