- Supervising 1,740 clients with medical and nutritional problems.

Enabling people to strengthen their income position by means of savings and loan activities (through self-help groups) and supervising income-generating activities.
- Forming 96 new self-help groups with 1,440 (female) members.
- Training 11 federations (covering SHGs).

- Providing logistical support to 110 small enterprises.
- Helping 11 enterprises to develop into larger businesses.
Target group: 25,000 women in resettlement neighbourhoods (Delhi)

Disaster risk reduction

Programme content:
Establishment of the Disaster Risk Reduction programme in order to limit the consequences of possible new flooding incidents. This is a response to the flooding in September 2007.
Helping 45 villages save money for use in the event of an emergency.
Establishment of 36 income-generating self-help groups.
Involving 6,000 people in planting fruit trees.
Training 1,470 members of the Disaster Task Force.
Emergency relief

Programme content:
After flooding in Bihar, EFICOR organised two camps and one community kitchen. Approximately 2,500 people were fed in each of the two camps. In addition, EFICOR provided food (for at least four weeks) and non-food items for 15,000 families in two districts.
