Promoting positive sexual lifestyles, reducing pregnancies and reducing the spread of HIV and AIDS among young people, through educational activities with youth groups and training of church peer groups.

Programme content:

Improving health in poor communities, particularly of children under five, and promoting social integration of disabled children, through trained volunteers working with parents and children. A specialised health worker has been recruited, who focuses on lobbying and advocacy activities in relation to regional and national authorities in order to achieve increased care and support for the most vulnerable people in the Dominican society.

Target group: 384 disabled children/youth receive home-based care in 384 families; 299 children have received professional psycho-social support
